Tuff London’s musical ethos stems from many different places, from the dark & dingy afterhours clubs of the North of England, to the illegal squat parties of London. From stadium filled raves to the intimacy of Sunday afternoon record shopping; this UK double act creates music influenced by the parties that helped define the grass routes of dance music - hazy smoke filled rooms, bass heavy beats and all weekend partying.

Mixing up the sounds that inspired them with today's tougher house music, Tuff London could be described as underground music colliding with popular culture; artists making music aimed solely at the dancefloor and having a good time.

Nodding towards genres as diverse as House, Techno, 90's club classics and just about anything else in between, Benz (of Hot City fame) and Sam T are no strangers to the sounds of international dance music with them both being successful DJs and recording artists in their own right under many different guises. Benz being one half of the highly popular Hot City act working alongside Hot Chip, Bernard Summer along with remixing pop acts such as Robyn, and Sam T being involved with some of the most influential record labels of the last 10 years and responsible for organizing some of the biggest UK based Raves.

Not ones to reminisce on former glories the boys are keen to focus on providing the vibe that got them hooked into dance music by combining their wealth of musical knowledge and experience under the Tuff London banner.
